Kabete, Kenya – March 28, 2025 – Kabete MP Hon. James Githua Wamacukuru has been recognized for his exceptional leadership, earning 2nd place in Central Kenya and 2nd nationally in the Starleaders Awards by Politrack Africa Ltd.
The award highlights his transformative projects in infrastructure, economic empowerment, education, and healthcare, which have significantly improved the lives of Kabete residents.
Among his key achievements is the construction of modern markets, equipped with smart stalls, storage facilities, and cold rooms, boosting opportunities for small-scale traders and MSMEs. Additionally, he has spearheaded road expansion, street lighting installations, and public transport upgrades, enhancing mobility and security.
In education, Hon. Wamacukuru has funded bursaries, built new classrooms, and equipped schools with modern learning materials. His leadership in the health sector has seen local clinics receive medical equipment, additional staff, and improved services, ensuring better healthcare access.
“This award belongs to the people of Kabete. It reflects our collective efforts to drive development and uplift lives,” he said upon receiving the award.
