Dr. Paulyne Wairimu, Medical Devices Lead at the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, has been elected Chair of the African Medical Devices Forum (AMDF) for the 2025-2028 term.

Her election by African Union member states at the 2nd Heads of Market Authorization meeting in Addis Ababa highlights her expertise in medical device regulation. As Chair, she will lead efforts to enhance the safety, quality, and effectiveness of medical technologies across Africa.
