The National Police Sacco has reaffirmed its commitment to community engagement by donating volleyball kits and equipment to the Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) Volleyball Team.

During a ceremony at the Sacco’s headquarters, the kits were handed over by Board members, including Chairman Mategwa, Vice-Chairman David Kangogo, Hon. Secretary Jeremiah Lekoken, and CEO Solomon Angutsa. KAPU Commandant Bernard Korir received the donation, expressing gratitude for the support, which he said would enhance team morale, fitness, and teamwork among officers.

“This initiative not only supports sports but also fosters discipline, unity, and collaboration within the police force,” Korir stated.

National Police Sacco CEO Solomon Angutsa highlighted the importance of investing in members’ well-being beyond financial services. “We are committed to supporting our members holistically. Sports promote teamwork and a healthy lifestyle, both of which are crucial in policing,” he noted.

The donation is part of the Sacco’s broader strategy to empower police officers and their families, emphasizing physical and financial well-being. As the KAPU Volleyball Team benefits from the new equipment, this initiative strengthens the bond between the Sacco and law enforcement, reinforcing the role of sports in community building.
