Dr. Faith Mwaura: A Beacon of Hope in Roysambu

By John Kariuki
Dr. Faith Mwaura joined worshippers at AIPCA Marengata Church, Kahawa West, for a morning filled with praise and reflection. Dressed in vibrant kitenge, she connected warmly with congregants and offered a heartfelt prayer for families facing joblessness, students under exam stress, and those affected by drought.
Beyond the pulpit, Dr. Mwaura’s leadership shines through tangible community impact. In the past year, she organized a six-week mentorship boot camp for 150 youth, launched monthly women’s empowerment forums that have supported 60 businesses, and led school improvement projects, refurbishing eight classrooms, installing solar lamps, and stocking libraries with over 1,200 books.
“Faith without works is dead,” she reminded the congregation, embodying her belief that spiritual devotion must fuel real-world transformation.
As the service ended, residents shared moving testimonies: a young man secured an internship, a mother doubled her income after attending a business workshop, and teachers now run reading clubs under her donated solar lights.
In Roysambu, Dr. Mwaura is praised not just for her transparency and resource mobilization, but for her deep compassion. Through faith and action, she is guiding her community toward a future built on hope, opportunity, and lasting change.
