Gatina MCA Kennedy Swaka has sounded a stern warning to politicians propagating falsehood against the sudden demise of the late Kariobangi North MCA Joel Munuve..
According to Swaka there are so many lies and hate being perpetrated by politicians especially Governor’s competitors.
“Let us not misuse social media to incite our people against leaders what is being peddled by section of politicians and their sympathizers is not good and that even us we were equally shocked by his death.” Swaaka said.
Swaka says the cause of death was clearly indicated by Government pathologist and that those using the same for Political millage are keen to incite.
“Article 33 of the Constitution of Kenya gives freedom to everyone to express himself or herself but that do not mean that we can now spread hate speech, propaganda for war and incitement. We want our departed brother to be respected together with his entire family.” Swaka said.
County Assembly Pathologist Dr. David Atandi, confirmed that a post-mortem conducted by independent and government pathologists found that Munuve died from a massive pulmonary embolism — a large blood clot blocking the main artery of the lung.
“We concluded that the cause of death was a large clot in the pulmonary trunk,” Dr. Atandi said. “His external physique appeared normal, but upon opening the body, we discovered that his left lung had become non-functional and a major blood vessel to the heart was completely blocked.”
