The project includes the construction of:

  • Permanent classrooms for lower primary,

  • Two Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classrooms,

  • A modern administration block,

  • A fully equipped science lab,

  • A digital computer lab,

  • A library,

  • A kitchen, and

  • Modern sanitation facilities for learners and staff.

“This investment is not just in buildings—it’s in the future of our children and the prosperity of our community,” Hon. Muthama said in a statement.

He also highlighted previous NG-CDF investments, which saw four permanent classrooms and quality furniture already provided for the school. “This partnership with the MPESA Foundation elevates our vision for Maisha Masha, turning it into a model of academic excellence,” he added.

Known for prudent management of NG-CDF resources, Hon. Muthama’s focus on sustainable and inclusive development continues to position Lamu West as a beacon of progress in Kenya’s coastal region.
