Bahati, Nakuru County – In a major boost to education infrastructure, Bahati MP Irene Njoki has announced the successful completion of 72 classroom projects, comprising 56 new constructions and 16 renovations, funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).

Speaking after a mid-term review session with local primary school head teachers, MP Njoki—widely known as Mrembo na Kazi Mashinani—said the assessment provided vital insights into the successes of past projects and remaining challenges.

“We’ve seen real progress, but the review helped us sharpen our focus and identify specific schools that need further support,” she said.

In addition to NG-CDF initiatives, the MP highlighted ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, including the construction of a 10-classroom storey building at Limuko Primary School, demonstrating how national partnerships can accelerate constituency-level development.

“Strategic partnerships are critical. By aligning NG-CDF resources with national government programs, we’re delivering faster and smarter,” she added.

MP Njoki reaffirmed her commitment to action over applause, citing her mantra Kazi Bila Kelele (Work Without Noise) as a reflection of her service-first approach.

With community engagement, prudent resource use, and results-focused leadership, Bahati is fast emerging as a model for education-led progress across Nakuru County.
