Kirinyaga Speaker Muteti Murimi Honors Fr. JB Mungai for 25 Years of Transformative Service

Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Muteti Murimi on Sunday led local leaders and residents in honoring Fr. JB Mungai of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Kibingoti, for 25 years of dedicated service to the community.
Speaking at the celebratory event, Speaker Murimi praised Fr. Mungai’s legacy of spiritual leadership and community transformation. “For over two decades, Fr. Mungai has been a pillar of hope and a catalyst for change, improving lives through faith, compassion, and action,” he said.
Fr. Mungai was also lauded by Kiine Ward MCA Hon. Lydiah Muriithi and Hon. Milker Thoithi for his impact beyond the pulpit. His initiatives in education, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment, and social cohesion have left a lasting mark across Kibingoti and wider Kirinyaga.
