MP GG Kagombe Champions Education in Gatundu South with Bursary Support

Gatundu South Member of Parliament GG Kagombe has reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to promoting education as a cornerstone of development in his constituency. Speaking at Gatitu Primary School Grounds in Kiamwangi Ward during the official issuance of bursary cheques for secondary school students, the legislator emphasized that no learner in Gatundu South should be left behind due to lack of school fees.
The bursaries, funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), were issued to students in both day and boarding schools across the ward. Hundreds of families turned out to receive the cheques, expressing relief and gratitude for the timely support, especially during a period when many households are struggling to make ends meet.
“Education is the greatest equalizer in our society. Through the NG-CDF, we are deliberately investing in our children’s future. No bright student should be forced to drop out of school because of financial constraints,” said Hon Kagombe.
He noted that education remains one of his top priorities and pledged to expand the program to cover even more learners across all wards in Gatundu South. He also called on school principals and parents to ensure transparency and accountability in the use of bursary funds.
This initiative aligns with Hon Kagombe’s broader development agenda, which focuses on empowering youth through education, improving infrastructure, and enhancing access to basic services. His leadership has been widely praised for prioritizing people-centered projects that have a tangible impact on the lives of constituents.
