Ndurarua, Kenya – Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki on Saturday championed a major economic empowerment event for small traders and SACCOs at Ndurarua Comprehensive School grounds, underscoring the government’s dedication to grassroots economic growth and financial inclusion.

Hosted by area MP Hon. Githua Wamacukuru, a notable advocate for Kabete’s development, the event showcased local efforts to strengthen small businesses and SACCOs. Hon. Wamacukuru’s leadership was instrumental in organizing the high-profile gathering.

The event drew a host of national leaders including National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a, Kiambu Woman Rep. Ann Muratha, Lari MP Mburu Kahangara, Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Kawanjiku, Ruiru MP Simon King’ara, Gatundu North MP Elijah Njoroge Kururia, Gatundu South MP GG Kagombe, Laikipia Woman Rep. Jane Kagiri, EALA Member Maina Karobia, Senior Presidential Economic Advisor Moses Kuria, and Government Spokesman Isaac Mwaura. Members of the Kiambu County Assembly also attended.
