KUDMFC Calls for Peace and Unity Ahead of Madaraka Day

NAIROBI – As Kenya approaches Madaraka Day, the Kingdom United Destiny Fellowship of Churches (KUDMFC) has issued a heartfelt message urging Kenyans to embrace peace, unity, and divine purpose.
The Fellowship acknowledged the government’s strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and public service, thanking national leaders for their efforts despite challenges. “The hand of God is at work,” KUDMFC declared, as it affirmed its support for the government’s commitment to national progress.
Amid political turbulence and economic strain, KUDMFC called on all Kenyans to “seek peace and pursue it,” emphasizing that peace is the foundation of prosperity. The message urged citizens to rise above discord, sow seeds of reconciliation, and embrace healing.
KUDMFC also appealed to opposition leaders to tone down rhetoric and opt for constructive dialogue. “Democracy is a divine gift,” they said, “but it must be stewarded with wisdom and love.” The Fellowship called for dialogue over division and unity over partisanship.
The statement offered encouragement to Deputy President Hon. Kithure Kindiki, urging him to embrace his “divine assignment” and lead with justice, mercy, and humility. KUDMFC pledged prayers and spiritual support for all leaders.
Addressing the Church, KUDMFC called on clergy to maintain neutrality and be vessels of reconciliation, healing, and godly counsel, resisting political entanglements.
As Madaraka Day approaches, KUDMFC invited Kenyans to reflect, recommit, and rejoice in their shared destiny. “May this day renew our covenant as one people, under one flag, guided by one Spirit,” they said.
