Starehe MP Amos Mwago Backs Major Upgrades at Pangani Girls School

Nairobi, June 17, 2025 — Starehe MP Amos Mwago has thrown his weight behind ongoing infrastructure upgrades at Pangani Girls National School, pledging continued support for education development in his constituency.
The school, the only girls’ national school in Starehe, is receiving critical upgrades, including a new boundary wall, main gate, and modern gatehouse—all aimed at boosting security and improving the learning environment.
“Infrastructure will always be a top priority,” said Mwago. “Pangani Girls is shaping tomorrow’s leaders, and it deserves the best facilities.”
Long renowned for academic excellence, the school has faced infrastructure gaps that are now being addressed under Mwago’s broader education agenda. He has consistently pushed for increased investment in school facilities across Starehe, arguing that strong infrastructure enhances student performance and morale.
Mwago urged the private sector and other partners to step in and support education in Starehe, vowing that no school should be left behind.
The upgrades at Pangani mark a key milestone in the MP’s mission to elevate learning standards and provide safe, dignified spaces for students to thrive.
