The National Construction Authority (NCA) has taken a strategic step toward fostering industry partnerships by engaging with KCB Bank to explore areas of collaboration and sponsorship ahead of the upcoming Construction Excellence Awards 2025.
In a meeting held today, NCA was represented by its Executive Director Eng. Maurice Akech, MBS, alongside General Manager for Registration and Compliance Qs. Susan Rutto and Corporate Communications Manager Ms. Wangui Kabala. The KCB Bank team was led by Mr. David Nyamu, General Manager for Sovereign and Public Sector, accompanied by Ms. Nancy Kiarie, Senior Corporate Relationship Manager.
The discussions focused on enhancing private sector involvement in celebrating innovation, compliance, and excellence within Kenya’s construction industry. Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to elevating the standards of construction through strategic collaboration and resource support.
The Construction Excellence Awards aim to recognize outstanding projects, individuals, and organizations contributing to the growth and professionalism of the built environment sector in Kenya. This year’s awards are expected to attract wide participation from public and private stakeholders alike.
The submission window for entries to the Construction Excellence Awards 2025 remains open until 24 July 2024. Participants are encouraged to submit their applications through the official portal.
As NCA continues to position the construction industry as a pillar of national development, such partnerships with financial institutions signal a promising future of mutual support, accountability, and recognition for those shaping Kenya’s physical landscape.
