The Kenya National Sports Career Fair, scheduled for August 6–8, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), is a bold and strategic Government initiative aimed at opening up progressive opportunities for young people in the sports sector.

According to Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya, the event seeks to expose young sports professionals, federations, academic institutions, coaches, sports journalists, stadium managers, and other key players to the wide range of opportunities available for skills development, career growth, and economic empowerment within the sports industry.

Convened by the Kenya Academy of Sports, the three-day forum will serve as a platform to educate and inspire the youth on how to invest in and actively participate in one of Kenya’s fastest-growing frontiers for job creation and community transformation.

“I call upon all youth across the country, regardless of background, to take part in this life-transforming event and discover the immense potential that lies within the sports industry,” said Mvurya.

He was represented by the Principal Secretary for Sports, Mr. Elijah Mwangi, during a media engagement held ahead of the Fair, as part of ongoing efforts to raise public awareness and rally participation.
