Two major projects are already underway. In Kabete Ward, the King’eero KINTA Catholic–King’eero Comprehensive School cabro access road is being upgraded to ease congestion and improve safety for students, parents, and motorists, particularly during peak school hours.

In Uthiru Ward, works on the Gakobu–St Joseph Arimathea ACK road are progressing steadily. The upgrade will improve access to markets, social amenities, and places of worship, while boosting local commerce and service delivery.

“These projects are more than convenience—they are catalysts for economic growth, safety, and better livelihoods,” Wamacukuru said, noting that his office consults residents and experts to prioritize roads with the highest social and economic impact.

The MP also revealed plans to expand upgrades to more wards, integrating drainage systems, street lighting, and road safety features to ensure sustainability.

Residents have welcomed the developments, expressing optimism that the improved road network will enhance mobility, reduce vehicle wear and tear, and raise property values.
