Led by National Chairman David Sohelo Mategwa, OGW, HSC, DSA, ICUDE, the initiative is visiting Bomet, Kericho, Kisii, Kitui, Makueni, Migori, Narok, and Nyamira counties, taking financial empowerment directly to members’ doorsteps.

The program covers prudent saving, responsible borrowing, investment opportunities, and strategies for building family wealth. Members are also trained on how to maximize Sacco products to meet short- and long-term goals.

“Our mission goes beyond offering financial products—it’s about empowering members with the knowledge to make informed decisions,” Mr. Mategwa said. “When our members manage resources effectively, they secure their future, uplift their families, and contribute to the economy.”

The caravan, run by the Sacco’s board, management, and staff, has received enthusiastic reception in every county visited, with members praising the inclusive approach. By focusing on direct engagement, the Sacco ensures that even those in remote areas access essential financial education.

The Kenya National Police DT Sacco’s vision remains to be a trusted partner in its members’ financial growth. Under Chairman Mategwa’s leadership, the Sacco is not only delivering services but also shaping a financially literate and prosperous membership base.
