Speaking during the ongoing Devolution Conference in Homa Bay, Mwaura acknowledged the two officials for their invaluable expertise and support, which he said has enabled CAF to achieve significant milestones.

“They have been instrumental in providing the technical know-how that helped steer CAF to where it is today,” he said.

Mwaura also used the opportunity to rally the Senate and the Executive to continue supporting devolved units for the benefit of all counties.

“This is a very proud moment for me personally, for CAF, and for all County Assemblies. It marks a big milestone in our devolution journey,” Mwaura stated. “I want to share this moment with the entire Nairobi City County Assembly — led by Speaker Ken, the leadership, and all members who have continuously supported CAF’s vision. Special thanks to Clerk Gichana, Deputy Pauline, and the dedicated staff. Asanteni sana — heko na kongole kwenu!”
