Speaking in Kamulu during the closing ceremony of the AIPCA Women Council Conference—where she represented President William Ruto—CS Wahome joined more than 4,000 women leaders from across the country in celebrating the Church’s contribution to community transformation and moral guidance.

She praised the women for their unwavering commitment to service, describing them as “pillars of progress” whose efforts extend beyond their congregations into wider society.

“The Church continues to shape our moral fabric, support the vulnerable, and foster peace and cohesion. As Government, we remain committed to working hand in hand with faith-based institutions to uplift livelihoods and build a God-fearing, prosperous nation,” she affirmed.

Wahome was accompanied by Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano and other dignitaries, underscoring the significance the Government places on collaboration with faith groups. She emphasized that strong partnerships between the state and religious organizations are vital in empowering communities, strengthening family values, and promoting sustainable growth.

The conference offered AIPCA women a platform to reflect on achievements, exchange insights, and renew their dedication to unity and service.

CS Wahome concluded with a call for Kenyans to embrace faith-driven development, assuring that Government will continue fostering close ties with the Church in the journey toward national prosperity.
