President Ruto Visits NPS Stand at Mombasa International Show 2025 -

Police Inspector General Douglas Kanja today hosted His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, at the National Police Service (NPS) exhibition stand during the ongoing Mombasa International Show.

Accompanied by the Director of Criminal Investigations, Mr. Mohamed Amin, CBS, IG Kanja welcomed the Head of State as he toured the stand, which showcased the diverse capacities of the Service.

The exhibition highlighted specialized units including the Integrated Command and Control Centre (IC3), the Police Air Wing, National Police Training Institutions, Chaplaincy, Medical Services, Bomb Disposal Unit, and the Fichua kwa DCI platform. Visitors were also treated to a performance by the Administration Police Service (APS) Jazz Band.

President Ruto commended the National Police Service for its innovation and professionalism, noting the recognition it received as Best Stand in the Display and Presentation of Security Services (Government Organisation).
