Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara has initiated the construction of a modern science laboratory at Moi Ndabi Secondary School in Maiella Ward, signaling a boost for science education in the constituency.

The project, financed by the Naivasha National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), is designed to improve practical science learning and provide students with facilities that encourage innovation and critical thinking.

Speaking during a tour of the school, MP Kihara underscored the value of investing in education infrastructure to prepare learners for future careers in science, technology, and innovation.

“Access to well-equipped laboratories is essential in nurturing scientists, engineers, and innovators. Kazi inaendelea,” she said, reaffirming her commitment to improving learning conditions.

Teachers and students welcomed the project, noting that the facility would transform science lessons by enabling hands-on experiments and better understanding of concepts.

Education stakeholders hailed the development as timely, aligning with the government’s broader agenda of strengthening STEM education across the country.

Through initiatives such as this, MP Kihara has positioned education as a cornerstone of her development agenda, aimed at empowering youth and uplifting communities across Naivasha.
