Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Monday joined Kenyans and various leaders in celebrating the successful recovery of former NTV journalist Eunice Omollo.
The former NTV reporter in May hit headlines when he came out begging for help from Kenyans divulging that she had for long time struggled with bipolar condition.
In a video shared online, Omollo sobbingly explained that she had transferred care of her son because of the condition.

The condition made her surrender the care of her son to her mother.
“I cannot live without medication and I cannot afford my medication.” she posted in her message back in May
She explained that apart from transferring care of her son, she was also battling threats of being evicted from her house.
But on Monday,Sonko announced that she had fully recovered.
” Good people,today I come with good news.After several months in a health facility,our friend and colleague Eunice Omollo is finally free of any substance,and ready to come back to her normal life.This is to thank all of you for standing with her during that difficult period.Eunice will soon bounce back,and may we welcome her with our wide arms,” he posted
