The program focused on encouraging women and youth to engage in sustainable livelihood projects. MSEA representatives interacted with Jua Kali sector participants, introducing them to opportunities linked to key initiatives such as the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) and market stalls projects. These efforts aim to boost local economic growth and create meaningful job opportunities.

MSEA CEO Mr. Henry Rithaa emphasized the agency’s commitment to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). “Our goal is to promote job creation, entrepreneurship, and economic resilience by providing access to resources, training, and funding for women and youth,” he stated.

The program reflects MSEA’s broader mission to foster inclusive economic development by collaborating with local and national partners. Through such initiatives, MSEA North Rift seeks to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity for residents of Nandi County and beyond.

This empowerment effort underscores the importance of partnerships in driving community development and highlights the pivotal role of MSMEs in building Kenya’s economic future.
