Faith Mony Odhiambo, President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), has been lauded for her transformative leadership, courage, and dedication to justice. As the second woman to hold the position after Raychelle Omamo, Odhiambo has become an inspiration to young women in the legal profession, symbolizing hope and service.
Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba praised Odhiambo’s efforts during the Gen Z protests, highlighting her role in defending vulnerable youths against police brutality. “Sometimes, I had to call her at night to stand in the gap for these young people, and she did so selflessly,” Wamuchomba said.
The MP described Odhiambo as a steadfast ally during turbulent times and expressed gratitude for her compassion and dedication. “When the history of this nation is written, her name will be engraved as a defender of justice,” she added, presenting Odhiambo with flowers as a token of appreciation.
Odhiambo’s commitment to serving all Kenyans, particularly during crises, has solidified her legacy as a leader driven by integrity and empathy. Her tenure at LSK reflects her commitment to justice, fairness, and the values that uplift Kenya’s legal fraternity and society at large.
