The private developer stormed the site and started excavation along the wall. It was during this time that the Headteacher informed the area Member of Parliament who then rushed to the school to stop them.
According to Wanyonyi he will not let the private developer grab Westlands Primary School land.

“My office is on high alert and should this developer continue with his illegal activities in the school land, we shall not have option but to mobilize the public to reclaim what belongs to them. Land grabbing in Wetlands is rampant and the best way to deal with it is through Wananchi. We reclaimed Bora Primary School land so it is not the first time they are trying to grab public lands in learning institutions especially in this area.” Wanyonyi said.
“They did not have good intentions the excavations were extended to the wall with some undertones that the school was within their land.” The headteacher said.
Same were echoed by members of the community who vowed to teach the developer a lesson should he return again to grab same land.
