James Wamacukuru Pushes for Key Development Projects in Kabete

KABETE, February 10, 2025 – Kabete MP Hon. James Wamacukuru has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering transformative development projects focused on infrastructure, market modernization, water accessibility, and job creation to improve the lives of his constituents.
During a Consultative Development Forum in Karen, hosted by Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Hon. Wamacukuru joined Kiambu County legislators, MCAs, and grassroots representatives to discuss priority projects aimed at boosting economic growth and service delivery.
Among the key projects he advocated for include:
- Road upgrades: Completion of Kibiku, Gathiga, and Njathaini roads and rehabilitation of Gitaru, Kwa Magu, and Ndumboini roads to improve connectivity and facilitate trade.
- Market modernization: Fast-tracking the construction of Wangige Market and completion of ESP market projects to support local businesses.
- Western Bypass compensation: Ensuring fair compensation for affected residents.
- Water access: Expanding supply programs to provide clean and reliable water.
- Job creation: Promoting youth and women empowerment initiatives to foster economic growth.
“We are determined to transform Kabete by enhancing infrastructure, expanding markets, and ensuring reliable water access. Working closely with the national government, we will deliver on these commitments to uplift our people,” Hon. Wamacukuru stated.
He emphasized that collaboration between the national government, county leaders, and community stakeholders is key to achieving sustainable development.
