CSRG Organisation to Hold its Elections on 21st March

The Civil Society Reference Group will now hold its periodic elections on 21st March 2025.
The widely anticipated exercise will be conducted online according to returning officer Mr. Steven Kabiri.
“On February 28th we shall have Annual General Assembly to ratify our activities thereafter on 6th March we shall meet all aspirants.” Kabiri told journalists.
Aspirants who are not satisfied with nomination results are also encouraged to appeal before final voting.
“We shall have 8th to 11th for appeals hearing, we want to encourage all those grievances be channeled to us and we shall make a just judgement.This election will be free,fair,credible and transparent.” He added.
Meanwhile 5 counties have been cleared to participate and these includes Nairobi Kisumu,Machakos and Trans-Nzoia County.
“We urge all organizations that are interested in participating in this exercise to ensure that they comply with our guidelines,” Elections official Elizabeth Kamene told the media.
David Caleb Otieno will be defending his seat as the organization’s president.
