Speaking at the college, Founder and Managing Director Joyce Murabu emphasized the importance of vocational training in addressing the growing unemployment crisis in Kenya.

She highlighted that many young people struggle to find jobs because they lack practical skills that are relevant to the job market.

“We are committed to ensuring that young people leave here with skills that directly translate to employment or self-reliance. The solution to unemployment is empowering the youth with knowledge that meets market demands,” Murabu stated.

The college offers a wide range of courses, including caregiver training, health sciences, beauty and cosmetology, fashion and design, computing and informatics, engineering and technology, business studies, hospitality, and defensive driving.

These programs are designed to provide students with hands-on training that prepares them for employment or entrepreneurship.

In addition to offering training, the college is actively partnering with businesses and organizations to provide internships and job placements for students.

Murabu called on the government and corporate sector to support vocational education through sponsorships and job creation initiatives, stressing that empowering young people with relevant skills is key to reducing unemployment in the country.

“If we work together, we can create a sustainable solution to youth unemployment,” she noted.
