To sustain this momentum, Tourism Cabinet Secretary Hon. Rebecca Miano and Principal Secretary for Tourism convened a high-level meeting with CEOs from the State Departments of Tourism and Wildlife.
Key focus areas discussed included:
Sustainable tourism development
Strengthened wildlife conservation
Sector policy alignment
Resource optimization for economic and environmental gains
The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) remains central to these efforts, conserving wildlife and natural habitats while promoting Kenya Parks as top tourist attractions.
The meeting emphasized collaboration and strategic action to overcome challenges, unlock new opportunities, and enhance visitor experiences. With continued leadership, Kenya’s tourism and wildlife sector is set for even greater success.
