MP Simon King’ara Leads Mwiki Primary Expansion to Ease Overcrowding

By John Kariuki
Ruiru MP Simon King’ara has spearheaded the construction of new classrooms at Mwiki Primary School to accommodate the growing student population, particularly Grade 9 learners under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Mwiki Primary, the most populated school in Ruiru Constituency, has long struggled with overcrowding. The expansion aims to create a better learning environment for students and teachers.
“Quality education begins with the right infrastructure. Expanding Mwiki Primary will ease congestion and improve learning conditions,” said King’ara.
The project aligns with national education reforms and has been welcomed by parents and stakeholders, who see it as a crucial step toward academic excellence in the community.
With steady progress in construction, the expansion marks a significant investment in Ruiru’s education sector.
