Mombasa, Kenya – May 2, 2025 — Mombasa County Woman Representative Hon. Zamzam Mohamed has commended Jomvu MP Hon. Badi Twalib Bady for disbursing over Ksh 36 million in bursaries, calling the move a vital boost for education and a lifeline for struggling families.
Speaking at Amani Primary School during the official cheque issuance, Hon. Zamzam hailed the initiative as “a bold investment in our children’s future” and praised Hon. Badi for prioritizing the academic needs of his constituents.
The bursaries, funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), will benefit hundreds of students across Jomvu, easing the burden of school fees for parents and guardians.
“This is more than financial aid—it’s hope for families and a step toward an equal and empowered society,” said Hon. Zamzam.
The event was attended by Mombasa Governor H.E. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, senior county officials, and community leaders, signaling a united front in the fight for education access.
