Murang’a, June 17, 2025 — Kihumbuini Ward is on the move—literally. Murang’a County Assembly Deputy Speaker and area MCA Moses Gachui Mungai has commended the steady progress in ongoing road rehabilitation projects aimed at boosting connectivity and economic activity.

Speaking on-site, Mungai highlighted key upgrades in Kwa Mukang’a and Njaini roads, which include bush clearing, grading, murraming, and compaction.

“These roads are more than gravel and machinery—they’re economic lifelines,” he said. “Farmers, traders, and residents will now move goods faster and access services more affordably.”

Mungai emphasized that better road infrastructure is central to improving access to healthcare, education, and markets, and affirmed that the work is part of a long-term plan to transform Kihumbuini’s infrastructure.

“Quietly and steadily, we’re connecting every corner of this ward. One road at a time,” he added.

He assured residents of continued oversight to ensure that all projects are completed with quality and impact in mind.
