In a colourful event blending tradition and transformation, Hon. Wamuratha distributed essential livelihood tools including salon kits, tents, chafing dishes, boda boda helmets, juicers, shaving machines, trolleys, and umbrellas to hundreds of local residents. The items are intended to support women-led businesses, youth enterprises, and informal traders striving for self-reliance.

“This is not charity—it’s an investment in people’s potential,” said Wamuratha. “We want our youth and women to thrive, not just survive.”

The lively ceremony featured cultural dances and community celebration, symbolizing both the empowerment of individuals and the pride of Kiambu’s heritage. Wamuratha emphasized that true development must honor both economic progress and cultural identity.

Her office has consistently rolled out initiatives aimed at narrowing the opportunity gap for vulnerable groups, with a focus on job creation, enterprise support, and access to capital tools.

“This is just the beginning,” she told the crowd. “We’re building a Kiambu where no one is left behind.”

Hon. Wamuratha’s people-first approach continues to resonate across the county, marking her as a champion of tangible, inclusive development that puts livelihoods—not politics—at the forefront.
