Contractors are required to renew their practising licenses via NCA’s digital platforms at www.nca.go.ke. This fully online process reflects the Authority’s ongoing digitization efforts and commitment to efficiency, transparency, and accessibility.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, NCA has emerged as a model regulator—driving compliance, safety, and quality in the built environment. The rollout of the National Building Code 2024 and enforcement of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) have positioned the Authority as a pillar of professionalism in the sector.

NCA Executive Director Eng. Maurice Akech and Board Chairperson Adv. Mercy Okiro continue to lead strategic reforms that are reshaping how contractors engage with regulation and public infrastructure.

Contractors across the country have praised the Authority’s efforts, citing a more streamlined, user-friendly renewal process and improved inspection systems. The campaign also features enhanced customer service channels and direct support via phone and social media.

As the renewal season gains momentum, NCA’s message is clear: compliance builds confidence—and safe construction starts with licensed professionals.
