Naivasha MP Jane Kihara Boosts Youth Empowerment Through Skills Training

Naivasha MP Hon. Jane Kihara has reaffirmed her commitment to youth empowerment through education and practical skills development.
Speaking during the Inua Partners in Hope graduation ceremony at Buffalo Mall, Viwandani Ward, Kihara lauded the training initiative for equipping more than 100 young people with technical skills and business starter kits, enabling them to pursue self-reliant ventures.
“Education is a powerful tool of empowerment. It levels the playing field and gives our youth the ability to create, innovate, and thrive,” she said.
The legislator pledged continued collaboration with organizations and the church to expand training opportunities. She also announced that the Naivasha NG-CDF will sponsor 20 additional youths to join the Inua programme, stressing her office’s commitment to tackling unemployment.
Kihara praised the United Methodist Church and Inua for their role in uplifting young people, noting that strong partnerships are critical in building resilience and preparing the youth for leadership.
She further assured residents that her development agenda will prioritize skill acquisition, business incubation, and mentorship, describing youth empowerment as the foundation of a prosperous
