Optiven Ceo George Wachiuru has been awarded Utumishi Bora Awards 7th edition.
Wachiuru was considered for the award best on his role in mentorship of the youth through the Optiven group foundation.
“Am both humbled and excited to be bestowed as the winner in the leadership category,at the 7th edition of Utumishi Bora Awards 2021 under the kenya christian professionals forum,”Wachiuru said.
Wachiuru also dedicated the award to all his Optiven staff , saying that they were the best leaders in various capacities.
“A good leader must always keep developing other leaders,my staff you are the best,”Wachiuru added.
The CEO is the brains behind the Optiven group foundation that has different initiatives aimed at bringing positive changes in the society.
Wachiuru who was awarded while in Congo for a business engagement, further expressed gratitude for the award adding that it was a great motivation to continue the journey to social and economic transformation.
