Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has worn case against Lawyer Cecil Miller.
Miller had sued Sonko in November 2021and obtained orders barring Sonko from publishing more videos or call recordings that may tarnish his name.
Miller ,Kithi and justice chitembwe were adversely mentioned in the expose ,with Sonko alleging the two city lawyers received over 315million to compromise the former Nairobi governor’s impeachment process.
In the ruling,the high court judge Mr Ongundi dismissed lawyer Cecil Millers petition,citing lack of merit.
“There shall be no order as to costs since the respondents never filed any response to the petition and application,”part of ruling reads.
“The court can only issue the orders sought upon being satisfied that indeed the alleged recordings and postings exist,in this case the petitioner has not proved any of the above and the petition must fail,”it adds.
