During the launch event, Carter Luo, CEO of Startimes, expressed his enthusiasm for the venture, emphasizing the company’s commitment to promoting green energy and environmental preservation.

“We are thrilled to introduce this advanced solar solution to our customers. Our goal is to ensure a reliable and continuous power supply, enabling seamless connectivity for communities throughout Kenya,” Luo stated.

Carter said that the innovative solar system features robust warranties—a 15-year guarantee on solar panels, a 10-year warranty on batteries, and a 5-year warranty on inverters—emphasizing Startimes’ dedication to quality and reliability.

“This initiative is not just about energy; it’s about providing high quality products and services to tye Kenyan people across all walks of life.” He said.

Miss Tamima Ibrahim, Marketing Director at Startimes, highlighted the broader impact of the initiative noting that they will open several showrooms across the Country to enhance customer experience.

She said that the company aims to provide its customers with a dependable power source, further solidifying its position as a leader in both media and energy solutions.

She pointed out that the launch of this initiative coincides with the eagerly awaited start of the LaLiga season, which will be broadcast on Startimes’ premier sports channels—Sports Focus, Sports life ,Sport’s premium and World Football.—beginning August 15, 2024.
