Directorate of Criminal investigation department ,Dci,has been one of the most reliable department of government agency,in its execution of serving kenyans with justice.
The department currently held by Dci George Kinoti ,has been praised by kenyans in equal measures for their good work.
This has been shown by a Mombasa judge John Mativo who recently asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Gerorge Kinoti to investigate the mysterious disappearances of court files.
“It cannot be business as usual. How can the court administer justice when the blame on the lost files lies squarely at its doorstep?” said Mombasa Resident Judge John Mativo.
TopNewskenya.co.ke,has learnt that,Justice Mativo has already directed the court’s deputy registrar to write to the DCI in Mombasa and lodge a complaint regarding the disappearance of the court file and request an investigation to establish how it happened and what legal action could be taken.
The revelations from the court has left Kenyans divided as some Kenyans question how the files were lost mysteriously.
The Dci will now be waiting for the official letter from the mombasa court before it embarks on searching the missing files.
Peter Simiyu a Nairobi resident who spoke to TopNewskenya.co.ke,has praised the Kinoti led department,as one of the government agency that has performed well as compared to other agencies.
“Calling on DCI is a mark of confidence and faith in DCI fairness in pursuing truth and facts without fear or favor,”Peter said.
Kenyans have been fighting for justice on several occasions but most of them end up losing due to lack of evidence in the corridors of justice.
Since president Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Dci boss Kinoti and Dpp Nordin Haji ,the two have been working together as they help Kenyans get their justice.
