Two of the country”s glamour football clubs Gor Mahia and Afc Leopards got a shot in the arm early on Wednesday after receiving 2021/22 kit donation from their gaming partners Betsafe Kenya.

 Both clubs will also receive 48 balls for the entire season.The kits will be used for home, away and training kits.

 The colorful event graced by both teams players, technical bench and officials was held at the Jericho Camp Toyoyo Grounds.

 AFC Leopards were represented by club Chairman Dan Shikanda,CEO Victor Bwibo, Team manager TJ Tom Juma and several technical bench.

Gor Mahia were represented by CEO Raymond Oruo, logistic manager lordvic Omondi Aduda and other officials.

Shikanda lauded Betsafe sponsors for standing behind his team despite the hard economic times but insisted the monthly sh. 300,000 promised by the Government appointed Caretaker committee for  each club is very small to sustain a team.

Shikanda urged Ingwe fans to stand behind the team and start attending their matches in large number’s in order to motivate the players and boost their financial kitty.

Both club players stood at the main dais for a joint photo and pleasantries .

Betsafe CEO Victor Sudi promised to honor their three year sponsorship deal for both clubs despite the Corona Pandemic that brought football activities to their knees.

 Afc Leopards will this weekend face newly promoted Talanta FC at Kasarani Annex, venue yet to be confirmed while Gor Mahia will be away in Kakamega to face Homeboyz Fc
