Politician and the chairman for persons living with disabilities in Meru county, Mike Makarina has today petitioned justice Anthony Mrima for gross misconducts and biasness; acting contrary to the expectations of a judge.

Makarina wants the judicial service commission probe the conduct of judge Mrima to ascertain if he was influenced to make the controversial judgement.

“I have presented these evidences in court and shown the amount Jimmy Wanjigi promised to give me, totaling to five million, so that I don’t present the documents he was given by DCI on where he could go and get back his firearm. He is only pushing for the ouster of Kinoti for personal selfish interest,” Makarina said.

He noted that it’s alarming and abuse of the judicial discretion to have witnessed judge run over the DCI Boss and to have convicted him to jail for four months without any other option for the decision of the court while being ignorant of the evidence.

Makarina through his lawyer Shadrack Wambui stated that the firearms claimed by Wanjigi are dangerous with a capacity to destroy Kenya’s capital and is only entitled to the military.

“Judge Mrima ignored the role Kinoti plays in ensuring there is security in the country. Further on, policy guidelines on sentencing were ignored,” he said.
