Wangui will thrash Passaris, Omanga if elections were held today

Jubilee’s Wangu B Ng’ang’a will be elected the new Nairobi Women Representative if elections were held today.

An online survey conducted by the Star has put Wangui ahead with 43% while current Woman MP Esther Passaris(ODM) has 36%. Millicent Omanga of UDA has 21%.

Wangui who served as a nominated MCA in Nairobi is eying the Azimio La Umoja ticket.

She is campaigning on the ditital and sustainable opportunities for youth and women.

The contesy for the seat has attracted alot of interest but political observers have tipped the Azimio La Umoja wing to bag the seat.

This comes at a time when media reports have alluded to a fallout between Passaris and the top leadership of ODM party.

Wangui has previously imdicated that she is ready to take on her opponents in a joint nomination process.

” No one should be scared because we are ready and I am sure that l will bring the ticket home and deliver the seat to Azimio,” Wangui said at a recent public rally.
