Ugly scenes were witnessed today as Laikipia East outgoing Member of Parliament Amin Deddy led goons in burning banners of his rival Cate Waruguru OF UDA.
The incident that that happened at the Nanyuki mainstage, has attracted criticism from political leaders.
The rivalry between Waruguru and Deddy seems to have been intensified by the ugly scenes earlier today.
This is not the first time Deddy is engaging in dirty political theatrics.
However in a swift response Waruguru has urged her supporters to reconcile and maintain peace.
The MP who has sensed defeat, is now using blackmail and intimidation towards women aspirants and leaders to frustrate their political ambitions.
Cate waruguru has been cited as the candidate to beat for the Laikipia East MP seat, under UDA party.
