The three, current Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu, Business Woman Agnes Kagure and Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi are the three candidates behind the smear campaign that have been directed towards Ngatia who lead the race for City Governor.

According to reports emerging, the smear campaigns are orchestrated by former Dagoretti South MP Deniss Waweru who had shown interest on the seat but retreated when Ngatia announced his intention to vie for the position.

Waweru has gone silent and thrown his support behind Ann Kananu who many believe is his illegitimate lover.

The three have gone to an extent of forging academic papers claiming to belong to Ngatia and have paid bloggers to run negative stories against Ngatia.

The politicians are said to have designed negative degrading graphics against the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president and are now reportedly in the process of fabricating fake videos of Ngatia allegedly abusing people living with disability.

Ngatia has on several occasions asked his opponents to practice mature clean politics so that whoever wins in Azimio La Umoja nominations has a better chance of winning the seat but those calls seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

Ngatia has been preaching peace with Azimio La Umoja opponents but they have continued to engage in smear campaigns against him with in zeal despite the four being in the same team.
