Bunge La Mwananchi has thrown weight behind Mca Abbas to be Nairobi Majority Leader.

Bunge la mwananchi ,a lobby group has endorsed South C mca Khalif Abbas to be the next Nairobi County assembly Majority Leader.

Led by their National President Calvin Okoth Gaucho, the lobby group has called upon Odm Leader Raila Odinga to consider nominating Mca Abbas for the seat since his the only one who fits the in the office of Majority Leader.

“We call upon Raila to settle on Abbas ,this the man who will champion interest of the party,he will ensure ODM party becomes more vibrant at Grassroots level,hope Raila will listen to us,” Gaucho said.

Gaucho added that,Abbas relates well with Majority of mcas elected across political divide both from Kenya kwanza and Azimio, and since he has been abusiness man in the city ,he will unite all leaders and improve service delivery in the city.

“With Abbas we are sure youth will get jobs,will not experience chaos each and every time,this the right man,”he added.

The lobby also said combination of Abbas and speaker Ken Ng’ondi will bring harmony and big change in the running of county assembly wing for the next five years,and also will make ODM party expand its wings in matters legislations.

This comes after Raila met Azimio mcas in acity hotel early this week,where he assured them that by next week ,he will communicate to them the right person who will hold the office of Majority leader,With Abbas and Mca Peter Imwatok eyeing for the same office.
