An Activist has taken Kenya railways boss Philip Mainga to court seeking his ouster over Corruption related case,this comes even as the head of state president William Ruto warning to all corrupt state officers.
Activist Ngugi Mbugua wants Mainga be subjected to aforensic investigation by the eacc with a view of the forfeiture for any unexplained assets as a result of corrupt conduct.
“That the respondent be suspended from office pending the hearing and determination of this petition, “the petition reads.
The Activist also wants Mainga surrender his travel documents with honourable court pending the hearing and determination of petition.
The petitioner has also cited that ,Mr Mainga has been consistently neglectful in his handling of the KRCs management affairs as chronicled by the Auditor General in the 2018 and 2019.
Mainga now walks between a tight rope if the case will not favor him,then he might be out of office soon.
