Startimes Kenya has been announced as nominee for the highly anticipated TikTok’s 2023 Top Creator Awards, scheduled to take center stage in Johannesburg on February 9, 2024.

The competition includes industry heavyweights such as PulseNigeria247 (Nigeria), Netflix (South Africa), Foodiesofsa (South Africa), WWTaste (South Africa), SuperSport (South Africa), and PulseSports (Nigeria).

This is the second TikTok annual award ceremony that recognizes and awards content creators across Sub-Saharan Africa for the immense talent and creativity they brought to the platform in 2023.

In an official statement addressed to Startimes, TikTok expressed its excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to inform you that you have been nominated at this year’s TikTok SSA Top Creator Awards. Carter Luo, the CEO of Startimes, expressed his gratitude for the nomination, hailing it as a significant boost for the company.

He highlighted Startimes’ role in promoting and boosting content, especially in supporting local talent.

Luo emphasized the innovative efforts that have driven growth in the content world, positioning Startimes as a pioneer in digital-TV migration in Kenya.
