Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Korogocho Ward Absalom Matach has implored the Nairobi County government to donate a fire truck that will help to curb the increasing cases of fires on roads, business premises, and homes.
The MCA cited the recent fire accident in his Ward where achild lost her life after the County fire engine trucks came late.

The county rescue team arrived too late.
“We don’t have a fire truck here in Korogocho Ward,a few days ago, recently fire truck that was deployed in my ward arrived after life and property had already been lost. It is high time the County Government of Nairobi brings us a fire truck,” he said.
The Mca also donated mattresses, blankets and food stuffs to the affected families.
