Justice and Legal Affairs Committee vice chairperson Hon Hamisi Maleya now says they shall not allow county state officers to blatantly engage in politics under their watch.
He says the committee have already issued summons to affected officers and that they will ensure those culpable are reprimanded.
Those mentioned are sections chief officers led by Mobility chief officer Mr. Nyamu among other top officials.
“State officers are not supposed to engage in politics. We had a meting that failed to take place because you didn’t appear and the committee realized that some of the staff who are professionals have turned into politicians ,this goes directly to County Secretary who didn’t appear.Another one is Mr. Nyamu who became a mobilizer in the on-going UDA polls.’’ Hamisi said.
