Hundreds of Youths today throng Busia town demanding immediate resignation of former Busia Governor Sospeter Ojamong from NEPAD chair post.
In a gazette notice dated June 14, President Ruto appointed Former Busia Governor Sospeter Odeke Ojaamong to be the Chairperson of the NEPAD/APRM Kenya Governing Council.

The demonstrators accused Ojamong of perpetrating fraud in Busia when he was the governor including the 8 million graft case that was flagged by the EACC.
“Ruto must sack him with immediate effect the lad is corrupt and not fit to hold public office,” the residents said.
“He stole 8 million public funds and for Ruto to redeem his government let him Sack Ojamong you can not reward a thief.” They added.
