Auditor General Commends City Hall for Steady Collection Of Parking Revenue

Nairobi City County Government has made tremendous strides in ensuring that Parking Revenue streams collects maximum amounts in revenue.
In recent comments of Auditor General to Nairobi Assembly Public Accounts Committee Parking ,Parking revenue is well stemmed and more effort should be made to ensure it remains top.
“If we see the projections Parking Revenue is up and contribute maximally to the County Revenue we must acknowledge that. I think that is commendable. The Committee should there strengthen loose ends to ensure no corruption” Auditor General office told the Committee.
Last year the Month of April County Collected 1.2 billion shillings in the Month of April the highest it has ever collected.
Governor Sakaja attributed the success to good governance and structures that have been put including tax holidays for cars every weekend.
“We are on course to collect the highest revenue this financial year due to the measures that we have introduced,” said Governor Sakaja.
